Story

The wine
Created in 1950, the Moulin de la Roque cellar is located in La Cadière d'Azur in an old wheat mill. Highly committed to Sustainable Development and since 2007 and through eco-environmental actions such as the maintenance of the tiered vineyards and the preservation of the tarante, a typical animal of Provence, the Moulin de la Roque produces fresh and elegant wines.

In the vineyard
Average age of the vines: 25 years
Vinification
Manual harvesting, vinification grape variety by grape variety, total destemming, 28 days maceration with temperature control between 24°C and 28°C, pressing and incorporation of the press juices to the free-run juice after tasting.
Ageing
Aged for 18 months in French oak casks.
Varietals
Mourvèdre : 90%
Carignan : 10%

Tasting notes
Belle robe rouge grenat, nez avec des notes de fruits rouges, de cuir et des nuances épicées, la bouche est riche et puissante.
