Presentation
Owned by the Daniel family since 1753 in Gigondas, the vineyard is deeply rooted in the pebble and quartz terraces at the heart of the Dentelles de Montmirail, over 400 meters above sea level. For over 30 years, Maryse, alongside her husband Richard, passionately nurtured and expanded the estate in this remarkable terroir. Today, their grandson, Rodrigue Daniel, continues the family legacy. He reflects, "I crafted this cuvée with care, passion, and a sole desire to honor my grandmother, who has always supported me. Without her, I would not have become a winemaker."
The vintage
This year’s climatic events have upset the work of our winegrowers. Frost, hail & rains did not spare the region. This vintage will be remembered for being atypical, but also for resulting in qualitative, fresh, lush and tasty wines with limited volumes.
