Big, IGP Méditerranée, Rouge, 2019

Presentation

Presentation
Big is a real product of France, home-made in Vaucluse by artisans vignerons. It echoes with la Douce France, strutting under string lights at guinguette dance halls, nibbling at saucisson during a match, setting the world to rights on a terrace, picnicking on the beach and flirting with the towel next door. Big is proud of its tricolour roots where winemaking know-how, a love of our country and the abundance of our wine-growing heritage shine through.
Terroir
Big was born in the sunshine of a warm and dry Mediterranean climate, protected from the mistral wind by the Dentelles de Montmirail mountains. These climate conditions make it easier to conspire with nature in the winemaking process.
Vinification
This expertly fermented wine displays fine fruit aromas and is naturally balanced. Fermentation methods include daily délestage (rack and return) and cooling of the must. The wine undergoes short maceration (8 days). Ageing is also short to make the most of the wine’s intrinsic fruitiness. It is therefore bottled early.

Grenache noir
Carignan
Mourvèdre
