Domaine du Grand Prieur, AOP Vacqueyras, Rouge, 2022

Presentation

Presentation
Located in the "Hautes Garrigues" in Sarrians, the estate is one of the oldest in Vacqueyras, created by Guillaume the 1st, Count of Provence, in 980. In 1880, the Gras family acquired the property. Today, Léo Gras and his two sons look after the vines, respecting the family tradition.
The vintage
Between heat and drought, the weather conditions have been challenging again this year. However, thanks to the remarkable resilience of our vines and the dedicated efforts of our Artisan Winegrowers and technical staff, the 2022 vintage promises to be of outstanding quality.

15/20
"Very perfumed and floral nose. Violets and blueberry. The dense palate is marked by firm tannins and moderate acidity. Juicy and rich, easy-going wine. Alistair Cooper" [+]
