Originating from 13 names... those of the thirteen founders who came together and gathered a team of expert winemakers to create a trusted signature for Rhone Valley wines. As a tribute to their work, the name DARONTON was born from a blend of parts of their names. Our "organic" wines specifically highlight our Winemaker Artisans who are certified " Organic Farming".
The vintage
Between heat and drought, the weather conditions have been challenging again this year. However, thanks to the remarkable resilience of our vines and the dedicated efforts of our Artisan Winegrowers and technical staff, the 2022 vintage promises to be of outstanding quality.
Terroir
This Vacqueyras cru is the expression of a blend of parcels located on the garrigues of Sarrians, where the soils feature a surface of rounded pebbles overlying deep layers of safre and clay
Winemaking
Harvested at optimal ripeness to preserve the grapes’ natural freshness.
Followed by direct pressing and cold settling at 8–10°C.
Only the clearest juices are selected for fermentation, which takes place at 17°C over a period of 10 days.

Advice
Tasting
The intense bouquet has delicate white flower overtones and hints of dried fruit. The wine is round, elegant, and full-bodied on the palate, with plenty of character.
Food pairings
This wine makes an ideal aperitif, as well as a good accompaniment to fish in beurre blanc sauce, trout meunière, or gourmet salad.
