By bringing together a collective of 388 family-run artisan wineries at the heart of the Dentelles de Montmirail Massif, Rhonéa gathers one of the richest wine terroirs of the Rhône, called Daronton after its founders nearly three generations ago. Originating from cold volcanic activity 60 million years ago, the Dentelles de Montmirail are composed of a mosaic of salted rocks, blue clays, and limestone rocks that impart powerful, elegant, and profound characteristics to the wines. These layers of sediment, trapped several kilometers underground, resurface to form a unique terroir unlike any other in the world.

The selected terroirs for our Côtes du Rhône mainly come from limestone soils on the surface and deeper clay soils, giving it its rich character.

Light pre-fermentation cold maceration to capture the aromas. Then, vinification focusing on the fruit with fermentation temperatures of 25°C and twice-daily pump-overs, which may be alternated with rack and returns.
