The village of Roaix is located on a hillside and owes its origin to a commandery of the ‘Templiers’ order settled in 1137.
Terroir
Grenache, Syrah & Mourvèdre grow from plain to slopes, on sandy soils and rolled pebbles on red & gray clay. This gives a very fresh, fruity and spicy wine.
Vinification
Harvest is destemmed and pressed. Traditional vinification with pumping-over. Fermentation under controlled temperatures (27°-29°C).
