Story

The wine
Immediately recognisable in its elegant bottle, this has always been the ideal wine for drinks parties and celebrations. For many years, it was mainly enjoyed well-chilled in the garden and in outdoor cafés. More recently, Muscat Beaumes de Venise has broken with convention and moved into the world of mixology.
Vinification
The unusual fermentation process - stopped by adding alcohol, thus retaining its natural grape sugars - gives it unrivalled softness and sweetness, balanced by a touch of acidity. These intrinsic values correspond to the basic principle of mixing cocktails, the famous 3 S rule: Sweet, Sour, and Strong.
Varietals
Muscat blanc à petits grains

Advice

Tasting notes
Muscat Beaumes de Venise is so successful in contemporary cocktails thanks to its extraordinarily powerful aromas: yellow fruit (peaches, apricots), tropical fruit (lychees), and fresh flowers, enhanced by a touch of citrus.
