Presentation

The wine
Mas du Bouquet is located at the foot of the Dentelles de Montmirail in a former sunny, untamed garrigue. The estate has been in the same family for over 60 years. In 1947, Jean-Marie Manganelli, a founder member of the Cave de Vacqueyras, created Le Mas du Bouquet. Geoffrey and Lois, the third generation of artisan winegrowers, have just taken over the estate from their father. A love for viticulture has been handed down from generation to generation, and this comes through in the quality of the wine. Its rich complexity and balance reflect the Manganelli’s passion for their terroir.
Terroir
This Vacqueyras’s rich taste comes from clay soil.
Vinification
Our cellarmaster tastes the grapes from each plot and makes a rigourous selection to ensure that your wine comes from the best fruit. Low yields give this Vacqueyras excellent concentration. The subtle combination of traditional winemaking methods and modern technology enables this wine to fully express its terroir.

Tasting notes
This wine’s very aromatic bouquet is redolent of spices and blackcurrant. It is very long on the palate, with hints of black fruit, liquorice, and spices.
Food pairing
Domaine Mas du Bouquet is ideal with roast milk-fed lamb with savory, or simply grilled rib of beef with sea-salt.
