Presentation

The wine
It was in 1789, at the dawn of the Revolution French, that the Domain was built of the Curnière. The Rame family, from Vacqueyras, decides to planting vines on the locality "La Curnière ". The vineyard, located on the sunny slopes of Vacqueyras, enjoy an exceptional terroir. More than two centuries have passed and this passion remains intact. The Rame family perpetuates a know-how transmitted from generation to generation to offer a fruity and authentic wine
Terroir
It is in a clay-limestone soil that this Vacqueyras takes all its character.
Vinification
The grapes, from reasoned cultural practices, are vinified using a subtle blend between traditional method and modern method. The harvest is first reserved for the cold, for maximum extraction of aromas. Then in thermo-regulated tanks the alcoholic fermentation takes place during a dozen days.
Maturing
To finish a patient breeding, between 8 and 10 months, brings complexity and aromatic power.

Tasting advices

Tasting notes
Powerful black fruit aromas. Starts out with panache on the palate, going on to reveal a velvety texture with very soft tannin as well as well-balanced red and black fruit.
Food pairing
This Vacqueyras is perfect with roast vegetables or an entrecote steak simply grilled with rosemary.
